For several days, the health status of Juraj Slafkovsky has been a concern due to his multiple absences from team training sessions to receive treatments.

The young man seems to be troubled by an injury that has persisted for some time, yet it has not caused him to miss a single game.

Juraj Slafkovsky Breaks Silence on His Condition

In an interview yesterday, the 19-year-old Slovak directly clarified the situation by mentioning that there was no need to worry about him and that he was fit to play all the games.
This is a very reassuring response from the man himself, asserting that there is nothing serious with his situation. Thus, it's excellent news for the Canadiens and their fans.
Since his breakout in December last year, the first overall pick has become a very important part of the Tricolore's offense. He scored another big power-play goal yesterday, on a one-timer.
Despite a terrible start to the season where he only secured three points, including a single goal, in 17 games, Slaf is on track to catch up with a more than decent production for his second professional year. If he keeps up his current pace, he would finish the campaign with 18 goals and 43 points.
This is quite solid considering how far he has come this season. Over the last four months, he's been producing at a pace of 54 points, but since his real breakout last December, he's currently maintaining a pace of 64 points.
This bodes well for the future.
