The general manager of the Laval Rocket, John Sedgwick, announced that the team and head coach Jean-François Houle have mutually agreed to part ways. Houle will now assume the role of head coach for the men's hockey program at his alma mater, Clarkson University, in the NCAA. Sedgwick expressed his gratitude to Houle for his impact on the organization's culture and player development during his three years with the Rocket. Under his leadership, the team became highly competitive, preparing several players for the NHL.
