Transaction alert between the Devils and the Wild
A significant trade occurred between the New Jersey Devils and the Minnesota Wild, with the Devils acquiring Adam Beckman in exchange for Graeme Clarke.
The news was announced by Tom Fitzgerald, President and General Manager, along with Dan MacKinnon, Assistant General Manager of the Utica Comets.
Beckman, aged 23, began his NHL career with the Wild in October 2021, earning his first point the following month.
He registered three assists and 14 penalty minutes in 23 games with Minnesota.
In 2023-2024, Beckman contributed with two assists in 11 games.
During the previous season, he led Iowa in the AHL with 33 points, including 19 goals.
Before his professional career, he played four seasons with Iowa, accumulating 108 points in 181 games.
On Clarke's side, he posted 49 points in 67 games last season with Utica. Additionally, he played his first three career NHL games in the 2023-2024 season.
