Right after their 3-2 victory over the Montreal Canadiens, the Dallas Stars made a rather controversial post on their Twitter account to mock Martin St-Louis's men.
A post that, according to comments from Montreal fans, was not appreciated at all.
Indeed, the social media manager for the Stars took advantage of their victory to ridicule the Canadiens by creating a fake menu featuring three types of poutine.
As you can see below, the poutines themed after the Canadiens were created to mock the Montreal organization.
Ketchup chips, Salmon, maple syrup, and disappointment" - Dallas Stars
Although this type of post is sometimes customary in the NHL, it's somewhat unclear why the American team wished to target the Bleu-Blanc-Rouge, given that the two teams don't really share a history of animosity.
Let's bet that the CH will not miss the opportunity to respond if the Canadiens win the next match between the two teams.
What do you think? Is this just a playful post or a sign of disrespect towards the organization?
