The Montreal Canadiens' training camp is approaching, and Alex Burrows' assistant coach position has yet to be filled.

The Quebec native decided to step down from his role as assistant to Martin St-Louis for family reasons. However, he will remain involved with the Canadiens as a consultant.
The question now is who will replace Burrows, who also managed the power play.
At the start of his show on BPM Sports, Martin Lemay provided some interesting information.
According to him, Burrows' position will not be filled by a new coach or hire. St-Louis is expected to take over the power play duties.
Trevor Letowski will handle the forwards, and Stéphane Robidas will manage the defensemen, as they did before.
Martin Lemay shared this information following Kent Hughes' comments in his interview with Tony Marinaro this week.
