A beautiful moment of television occurred yesterday during the game between the Canadiens and the Capitals.

The visit of the Caps to Montreal brought Max Pacioretty, and he delivered a very emotional message to the fans of the Tricolore.
Here's what he said to Renaud Lavoie on TVA Sports:
"I've had the best moments of my life here, three of my children were born during my time with the CH, and Montreal will always have a special place in my heart.

They surprised me in the corner of the rink, it's hard not to be emotional. I'm proud of what I've accomplished here and it's nice to come back to Montreal and share the moment with them." - Max Pacioretty, TVA Sports

Even though he left the CH organization in 2018, the former captain openly stated that he spent the best years of his career here, with the team that drafted him in the first round in 2007.
It's wonderful to hear that, especially since the 35-year-old forward has played four seasons in Vegas, achieving statistical success despite several significant injuries.
He even concluded his interview with a "Merci Renaud" in French, which shows a great respect for his time in the organization.
