Arber Xhekaj shows off his insane strength in wild scene last night
A downright surreal scene unfolded live during the match between the Montreal Canadiens and the Philadelphia Flyers involving Arber Xhekaj. The defenseman made an incredible move by single-handedly managing three opposing players.
"Xhekaj decided he wanted to beat his record and handle 3 guys at once instead of 2, this time." - HFTV
Here's the scene in question:
Another very interesting element occurred in the same sequence, as he addressed a few words that must have cooled the ardor of one of the Flyers players.
Arber Xhekaj: "You don't want this, you don't want this (talking about dropping the gloves against him)"
Since his return from Laval, the Sheriff has been playing some very good hockey, and he is certainly proving his worth in the lineup, even without having to fight in every game.
The numerous battles for available spots on the Tricolore's blue line next year promise to be very exciting. However, with his current performance with the club, I believe Xhekaj is likely to stay in Montreal for good.
In 41 games this season, he has totaled three goals and nine points, as well as 79 penalty minutes.
