Hilarious mistake on TSN involving Cayden Primeau
The television network TSN made a significant blunder during the live broadcast of the game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Philadelphia Flyers, by naming Cayden Primeau as the first star of the game.
The 24-year-old goaltender had another excellent performance with a total of 29 saves on 30 shots. He was very close to securing a third consecutive shutout at the Bell Centre, before conceding a goal at the 59th minute of the game.
Unsurprisingly, he was named the best player of the match, and on this matter, TSN made a notable flop by displaying Primeau's portrait on television.
We'll let you spot the mistake
It's quite a humorous error, you have to admit.
Nonetheless, subtly, the progression of the Canadiens' seventh-round pick in 2017 has been rapid since Jake Allen's departure. Indeed, this season is very promising for his future with the organization.
After 18 games, Primeau boasts a 2.75 GAA and a .913 save percentage, including two shutouts.
He is proving himself to be a legitimate NHL goaltender, as well as a potential candidate for a starting goaltender position one day.
The future seems brighter than ever in goal for the Canadiens.
