The Canadiens and Kent Hughes are not done shopping yet. After acquiring Patrik Laine, another high draft pick could be given a chance in Montreal.

According to a well-informed Czech journalist, Filip Zadina might receive a professional tryout, or PTO, at the Canadiens' next training camp.
This allows the player a chance to prove himself while the team does not have to immediately commit to a contract.
The ball could be in the court of the former QMJHL player who has struggled to establish himself in the NHL despite being selected 6th overall.
At the time, he even criticized the Canadiens for passing over him to draft Jesperi Kotkaniemi 3rd overall in the 2018 draft.
The Leafs and the Avalanche are also in the mix to offer a professional tryout to the former Red Wings and Sharks player.
At just 24 years old, he has already had seasons with 10 and 13 goals.
