It has always been Matty and John. I can't even put into words how special their relationship was, and right now, I don't have the strength to describe it.
They were each other's biggest cheerleaders. Matt relied on John in so many ways, the most important being the father he was to Noa and Johnny.
It brings me great comfort to know they are together, as they always were. I know they will continue to tease each other and support each other, while also taking care of all of us (their family).
With Meredith (Johnny Gaudreau's wife), we will always share this extreme tragedy... But the guys couldn't have chosen stronger women than us as their wives and as the mothers of their children. We will support each other through all the seasons and all periods.
Just as the guys would have.
They gave us the most beautiful gift with our children... Through them, we will always have a part of our men here on Earth with us.
