We mentioned to you yesterday that things were starting to get quite complicated for the former Canadiens forward, Jonathan Drouin, in Colorado.

Indeed, after starting the season on the first line, the Quebecer was demoted to the second and recently, the third unit.
Moreover, to make matters worse, Drouin was practicing, along with four other players, on the fourth line during the Avalanche's practice yesterday morning.
It's far from the start of the season he had hoped for, having only collected a single assist in the team's first eight games.
In fact, according to Peter Baugh, the journalist assigned to cover the activities of the Colorado Avalanche, all signs suggest that the two former members of the Canadiens, Jonathan Drouin and Tomas Tatar, could be left out of tonight's game against the St. Louis Blues.
Ouch!
"Jared Bednar did not want to reveal the composition of his lineup, but he stated that it was possible that Drouin and Tatar would both be left out. Ivan Prosvetov will be the starting goaltender against the Blues." - Peter Baugh

Note that Jonathan Drouin and Tomas Tatar both did extra time after the Avalanche's practice this morning, a fate often reserved for players scratched from the lineup.
Certainly, we strongly hope that the Quebecer will quickly find his bearings if he wishes to continue his career in the NHL.
