The Chicago Blackhawks are gearing up to face the Winnipeg Jets at the Canada Life Centre this afternoon, and unfortunately, an incident involving Connor Bedard occurred in the last few hours.
Indeed, journalists covering the Jets were very insistent about speculations involving Corey Perry and the mother of number 98.
Visibly annoyed by the repetitive questions from journalists, Connor Bedard lost his temper, mentioning that it was nonsense for some to continue treating a rumor that is simply unfounded.
Clearly, the first overall pick in the last draft is tired of hearing about this story, and with good reason.
Winnipeg media questioned Connor Bedard about the impact of the rumors concerning Perry today.
Frankly, I don't think this was the appropriate time to do so. But I think his response deserves to be published:
"It's just a bunch of bullshit on the Internet. Of course, it has had an impact on me and my family, and it's not fair. But it's out of our control. It's just fake and made-up stuff." - Via Ben Pope
Moreover, according to several journalists present at the Blackhawks' practice, Connor Bedard was really irritated by the journalists' insistence on this question.
We seriously hope that the media got the message and that this famous rumor will no longer be a common topic of discussion during his next interviews.
For sure, the 18-year-old forward did well to stand up to those who dared to ask him this unnecessary question. We can officially say that this is a closed case!
