The Boston Bruins saw their season come to an end yesterday, once again against the Florida Panthers. There was still something missing for the Bruins in the playoffs this year.
Visibly disappointed, head coach Jim Montgomery didn't beat around the bush in describing his team's performance in this duel against the Panthers.
He targeted the lack of offense and nonexistent offensive production from the Bruins to partly explain the elimination.
"I didn't feel frustration, but rather a lack of ability to score in the playoffs in general. You can't win every game 2-1. We didn't finish. Aside from the first game, did we score more than two goals?" - Jim Montgomery
