The Canadiens-Bruins rivalry has been well known for many years and decades. It even extended to the TD Garden in Boston during the playoffs yesterday.
A sign became viral both on television during the broadcast of the game, on social media, and inside the arena. The sign was actually created by a Montrealer and supposed Canadiens supporter.
It said:
"I came from Montreal to see a real team play hockey!"
A clever nod in the circumstances. This Quebecer didn't miss the chance to tease the Canadiens a bit, and as you can imagine, Bruins fans really appreciated it!
