Sammy Blais, currently without a contract for the upcoming season, is considering continuing his career in the KHL.
According to Metaratings.ru, the 28-year-old Quebec forward has expressed his intention to play in Russia and has been offered to several teams in the league, although no deal has been finalized yet. It remains to be seen which team will sign him.
Drafted in the 6th round by the Blues in 2014, he played six seasons with them, including the one where he won the Stanley Cup in 2019. He also played with the Rangers for a season and a half before returning to the Blues in 2023.
