A tragedy struck the hockey world with a devastating cabin fire in Prince Edward Island, claiming the life of a 21-year-old hockey player.

Three other teammates were seriously injured in the incident. Cavendish police reported that the fire resulted in one fatality and serious injuries to three others who managed to escape.
The victim's identity was not disclosed by police, but the local team, the Capstone Colts, confirmed the tragic death of Noah Latimer. Latimer, recently traded, had already made a profound impact on his team, even receiving the MVP award for the playoffs.
