There's been a development regarding a potential return to play for Corey Perry, as the excellent journalist Emily Kaplan from ESPN has reported new information about the interest of teams in his services.

"Regarding Corey Perry... several teams are considering recruiting the veteran for the second half of the season.
I don't know if this will happen, but there is interest. I know of at least one team that is doing due diligence to see if there have been other incidents besides what happened in Chicago." - Emily Kaplan
