In the last few minutes, the Montreal Canadiens have once again announced that Slovak forward, Juraj Slafkovsky, will have to miss this morning's training session to receive treatment from the medical staff.
Since last week, the forward has not participated in any training sessions, raising many concerns about his health status. It appears he is currently bothered by a minor injury.
We sincerely hope he does not worsen the situation by continuing to play in games, especially since there's no real stake in the season at this point. Certainly, this slight discomfort doesn't seem to bother him too much, as he played an excellent game against the Toronto Maple Leafs last Saturday, contributing two assists.
In his second season in the NHL, the former first overall pick has made rapid progress, becoming one of the best forwards for the Canadiens. The 19-year-old has amassed an impressive total of 13 goals and 20 assists (33 points) in 64 games.
