The Montreal Canadiens have made a somewhat concerning announcement about a key player on their roster.

Following their victory against the Kraken, the organization confirmed that defenseman Mike Matheson will not be participating in today's practice in order to receive treatment from the team's medical staff.
"Defenseman Mike Matheson will not participate in today's training (treatment day)." - Montreal Canadiens

It is sincerely hoped that this is not a serious injury!
