In recent hours, the Montreal Canadiens made a somewhat surprising announcement regarding Cayden Primeau and four other players on the team.

Indeed, the organization confirmed that the goaltender did not participate in the team's morning practice as he was receiving treatments from the team's medical staff.
"Christian Dvorak, Jake Evans, Brendan Gallagher, Mike Matheson, and Cayden Primeau will not participate in today's practice (treatment day)." - Montreal Canadiens

While this news is rather normal for Christian Dvorak, Jake Evans, Brendan Gallagher, and Mike Matheson, who all played in last night's game, the absence of number 30 raises some questions about his current health status.
It's strange to note that the young American goaltender requires treatments, especially since he hasn't played in the last two games for the Canadiens. Could Cayden Primeau be suffering from an injury?
Certainly, we strongly hope that the 24-year-old goaltender is 100% fit; otherwise, the well-known issue of goaltending could persist for many weeks if he has to miss some games.
It should be noted that the head coach of the Montreal Canadiens, Martin St-Louis, has not given an update regarding his goaltender. Therefore, we will have to wait for an official announcement from the organization for more information, if there is indeed an injury.
