This means that Christian Dvorak, Jake Evans, Brendan Gallagher, Mike Matheson, and Cayden Primeau are all dealing with minor injuries.

Given the Canadiens' dreadful history of injuries, this announcement does not bode well, especially if some of them are at risk of exacerbating an existing problem.

With Kirby Dach, Alex Newhook, Tanner Pearson, Jordan Harris, and Rafaël Harvey-Pinard already sidelined, many for a long term, the Canadiens can ill afford to lose more players to injury.
