Canadiens Doctor Confirms What's Next for Carey Price
At a special and unexpected press conference this afternoon, Dr. David S. Mulder of the Canadiens took the spotlight. He addressed journalists to respond to several piquant questions.
After expressing his absolute opposition to fights in hockey, due to the predominant risks that can cause critical brain damage, he addressed the topic of Carey Price's injuries.
Dr. Mulder provided details never revealed before, but it was a very specific part of his comments that greatly caught attention.
He indicated that the last injury of the famous number 31 had "ended his career."
Although there's probably no one who is overly surprised by this, unless mistaken, this is possibly the first time a Canadiens employee has confirmed that Price's career was over.
He will thus collect his last years of contract before officially retiring from hockey and announcing his retirement in the summer of 2026.
