Mitch Marner once again failed to deliver a strong performance during the playoffs with the Maple Leafs. His days with the Toronto team seem numbered.

After yet another first-round exit, the Leafs made a significant change by replacing Sheldon Keefe with Craig Berube behind the bench.

It's precisely Marner, the first of the trio, who is expected to leave the Leafs. The organization might even force him to accept a trade, and they are willing to take a tough approach to make Marner understand that he needs to depart.

"I think the Leafs are going to make a play and put him in a corner over the next three weeks, saying, 'Mitch, it's been great, but we're moving on. So, whether it's now or in eight months, your time is up.'"
