The Toronto Maple Leafs have announced the addition of Marc Savard to their coaching staff as an assistant coach for the upcoming season, completing head coach Craig Berube's team.

The group also includes Lane Lambert as associate coach, Mike Van Ryn as assistant coach, Curtis Sanford as goaltending coach, and video coaches Jordan Bean and Sam Kim.
Savard joins the Maple Leafs after serving as an assistant coach with the Calgary Flames last season and coaching the Windsor Spitfires for two seasons in the Ontario Hockey League.
As a player, Savard played 807 regular season games and 25 playoff games in the NHL with multiple teams, amassing 706 points (207 goals, 499 assists). He was drafted by the New York Rangers in the fourth round of the 1995 NHL Draft.
