The Utah organization has recently put its 11th overall pick from the 2019 draft on the trading block, which could present an interesting opportunity for the Montreal Canadiens.
Victor Soderstrom, a 23-year-old right-handed defenseman, is currently a restricted free agent and could be traded. Although Utah is open to re-signing him, they are also exploring trade options.
Soderstrom, selected 11th overall by the Coyotes, has played 53 NHL games and has yet to fully realize his potential, despite a solid career in the American Hockey League.
His role has become less crucial following recent additions of Mikhail Sergachev and John Marino to Utah's defense.
