Two new targets identified for Kent Hughes this summer

Analyst Simon Boisvert has identified several potential targets for Kent Hughes this summer, aiming to make a trade similar to those of Kirby Dach or Alex Newhook.

In his podcast *Processus* with Mathias Brunet, The Snake revealed some interesting names.

Among them are Alexander Holtz from New Jersey, as well as Jack Quinn and Peyton Krebs from Buffalo.

However, two names that are rarely mentioned but stand out in Boisvert's discussion are Dylan Holloway from the Oilers and Philip Tomasino from the Predators.

"I might be ready to offer either my second-round pick with a prospect, but not necessarily a top prospect, or a straight-up one-for-one trade with Winnipeg's 26th pick. I believe Dylan Holloway is worth as much as a dart thrown at the 26th spot," said Boisvert.

Holloway, 22, a former 14th overall pick in 2020 and a former teammate of Cole Caufield at Wisconsin, recorded nine points in 38 games with the Oilers this season, adding 16 points in 18 games in the AHL. Currently in the playoffs with Edmonton, he has scored four points, including three goals, in 16 games.

"Philip Tomasino can make spectacular plays and score goals, though he is criticized for his lack of involvement. So I'm not sure if he would appeal to the Canadiens. However, he has the skills and talent to play in the middle of the lineup. For him, I would give a second-round pick and a prospect, but not a top prospect," added Boisvert.

In 41 games this season with Nashville, Tomasino, 22, tallied 20 points, while performing well in the AHL with 18 points in 22 games.

Both players will become restricted free agents this summer.
