A group of professional athletes, including Nicolas Deslauriers and Patrick Côté, has filed a lawsuit against Jean-François Gaudreau, their former associate and renowned fitness trainer who worked with Carey Price and Georges St-Pierre.
The unexpected closure of the XPN Rive-Sud training center in 2023 prompted this lawsuit, seeking $1 million from Gaudreau and his company JFG Fit Nutrition, along with $100,000 in punitive damages.
The plaintiffs accuse Gaudreau of document falsification, concealment of crucial financial information, and unauthorized use of Zach Fucale's image.
They also criticize Gaudreau for unilaterally deciding to close the center without consulting shareholders, alleging that Gaudreau personally benefited from the situation to the detriment of investors.
