Simon Boisvert, a well-known expert and former recruiter in the QMJHL, has surprised many by expressing rare optimism about the future of the Montreal Canadiens.

In a recent appearance on Tony Marinaro's podcast, Boisvert emphasized that the acquisition of Michael Hage in the last draft could prove crucial for Martin St-Louis's team.
Although Kent Hughes failed to secure a top-line forward this summer, Boisvert believes that the additions of Hage and Ivan Demidov will significantly boost the Canadiens' offense in the coming years.
Boisvert even goes so far as to claim that if Hage is placed on the third line, the Canadiens could make it to the finals.
According to him, the offensive depth, including players like Cole Caufield, Nick Suzuki, and Juraj Slafkovsky, would allow Hage to play an important role, thereby increasing the team's chances of success.
