The former defenseman of the Montreal Canadiens has just received big news. Shea Weber will be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in the class of 2024.
The former captain of the Canadiens played 1038 games in the NHL, and his final appearance on the ice was his only loss in the Stanley Cup Finals with the Canadiens against the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2021.
The imposing defenseman was one of the top defensemen of his generation and remained consistent throughout his 16-year career in the Bettman circuit. Weber will now have his place among hockey legends at the Hall of Fame in Toronto.
