Elliotte Friedman, a Sportsnet insider, has revealed the details of the cost to acquire Yaroslav Askarov via trade.

The young goalie, recently at the center of discussions, has officially requested to leave the Nashville Predators and is refusing to play in their AHL team.

This has caught the attention of the Montreal Canadiens, with rumors suggesting possible interest from Kent Hughes.

Friedman states that the Predators are demanding a high price for Askarov: an established NHL player and a top prospect, preferably a forward or defenseman.

With Askarov, who was ranked 11th overall in the 2020 draft, the market is clear: acquiring him will be expensive.
