During a recent appearance on the popular podcast "Spittin' Chiclets," last year's top draft pick lavishly praised his former teammate.
Macklin Celebrini praised Lane Hutson's talent, describing him as a special player.
"Celebrini was on Spittin' Chiclets today and they asked him about Lane Hutson, he said he's never played with a more skilled player and said Lane would burn him with head fakes in practice too. He said he sees Lane having a great career in the NHL."
Interesting! Players who face each other most often are teammates during numerous training sessions. In other words, Macklin Celebrini is well placed to assess Lane Hutson's potential.
This bodes well for the Canadiens' top prospect on defense. We'll see if Hutson starts the season with the main club or with the Rocket in Laval.
