The two friends from the Canadiens' top line played a round of golf as part of the media day in anticipation of the big PGA tournament scheduled to take place in the Quebec metropolis in a few weeks.
The captain and the right winger were asked about Ivan Demidov's selection and his arrival within the organization.

Additionally, Caufield confirmed that he, along with several of his teammates, had contacted the Russian player to welcome him and express their excitement about playing with him in the coming years.
Theoretically, Demidov is expected to arrive in Montreal in 2025, though it would be surprising if he played a few games with Laval. We'll see how his development progresses this season in the KHL.
