Arber Xhekaj appeared pleased and relieved with his new contract in hand. He met with media representatives via Zoom for a brief press conference.
The defenseman signed a new two-year deal worth $2.6 million with the Montreal Canadiens. According to Xhekaj, the contract is advantageous for both him and Kent Hughes.
The tough defenseman reassured everyone about various personal and team aspects.
First, Arber Xhekaj confirmed that he is recovering from shoulder surgery and will be 100% ready for the upcoming training camp.
