A trade rumor between the Montreal Canadiens and the Winnipeg Jets is currently circulating, and it seems very sensible.

The Jets are desperately seeking a center. After being turned down by Sean Monahan, Adam Henrique, and Blake Lizotte, they might be interested in Christian Dvorak, a similar player.
Winnipeg journalist Scott Billeck has also mentioned Justin Barron, whose brother Morgan already plays for the Jets.
The proposed trade would be as follows:
To Montreal: Rutger McGroarty

To Winnipeg: Christian Dvorak, Justin Barron, and a first-round pick acquired from the Flames (potentially the Panthers' pick, obtained in the Sean Monahan trade).

This scenario could suit both teams.
Rutger McGroarty, 20, recorded 52 points in 36 games this season in the NCAA and shone at the World Junior Hockey Championship with 9 points in 7 games.
He is very promising.
