Michael Hage was the Canadiens' second pick in the first round of the last draft, 21st overall. He's a player thrilled with the outcome as much as the fans.

Hage is currently at the organization's development camp this week, leaving a very positive impression so far. The forward will continue his development at the University of Michigan this season.
Several observers have noted Michael Hage's excellent skating ability. He glides on the ice, not necessarily with top-end speed, but with great fluidity. He moves very well in all areas of the ice.
On the Sick Podcast, host Tony Marinaro even went so far as to say that Hage's skating and elegance on the ice resemble Mike Matheson's style.
The Canadiens' defenseman may be the best skater in the organization. It's a bold comparison, but promising considering the potential of the Canadiens' new prospect.
"The first thing I notice is how effortless it looks: it's like watching Mike Matheson skate, but as a forward."
