A bizarre trade proposal involving Arber Xhekaj by a former Canadiens

What is the value of Arber Xhekaj? Although he is a player who has spent little time in Laval and is not considered a top-tier defenseman in the organization, one might think that his value is not extremely high.
However, Xhekaj has several dedicated supporters, including Maxim Lapierre.
During the recording of the "La Poche Bleue" podcast on Wednesday, Lapierre made a strong statement regarding a potential trade involving Arber Xhekaj.
In summary, he is absolutely not in favor of trading Xhekaj. The only exception? Connor McDavid, nothing less.

To clarify matters, Guillaume Latendresse and Maxim Lapierre then explained that they are not comparing Xhekaj to McDavid, but rather demonstrating how untouchable Xhekaj is for the Canadiens.
This entire discussion began on Sunday, when David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period revealed that several teams had contacted Kent Hughes about a potential trade involving Arber Xhekaj.
According to Pagnotta, Hughes informed the other general managers that he does not want to trade his defenseman.
