The second book by former equipment manager Pierre Gervais about secrets of the Montreal Canadiens is now available, and some passages are currently causing a sensation on social media.

Among them, we learn that two former players of the club were seen as very bad people by Gervais, including one who was a fan favorite during his time in Montreal.
« This player falls into the category of a few not good ones that I've come across over the decades. But he could not reach the level of a Cammalleri or a Niinimaa. He wasn't very friendly, but he still treated us with respect. » - Book by Pierre Gervais

While Janne Niinimaa's reputation was not very glorious, having played only 41 games with the CH after being acquired in the Mike Ribeiro trade, it is very unfortunate to learn how horrible Mike Cammalleri was within the club.
Of course, there must have been several problematic people who have passed through the Canadiens in its hundred years of existence, but for Niinimaa and Cammalleri to be identified without restraint, it's because they were truly "not good" as Gervais pointed out.
