In the last few hours, a very surprising announcement has come from the Montreal Canadiens organization. Indeed, the Trois-Rivières Lions, the CH's affiliate team in the ECHL, have officially announced that forward William Lemay has been placed on the team's suspended players list to ultimately be removed from Ron Choules' lineup.
Naturally, this announcement has raised many questions among Trois-Rivières fans who are still looking for answers regarding the reasons behind this decision. However, one thing is certain, William Lemay will no longer be part of the Tricolore's organizational chart.
The Marieville native was having a rather difficult season with a meager tally of two points in fourteen games. He had, however, impressed in his professional debut last year, accumulating four goals and four assists in as many games.
