In the last few minutes, a rather surprising announcement has occurred in the NHL. Indeed, the excellent Elliotte Friedman has confirmed that the Buffalo Sabres have placed 25-year-old center Tyson Jost on NHL waivers.
Selected 10th overall in the 2016 draft, Tyson Jost was destined for a very promising future in the Bettman circuit, having scored 42 goals and 62 assists (104 points) in 48 games in his last year in the BCHL.
However, since his arrival in the National League, the forward has had numerous difficulties establishing himself on the top two lines. He has never been able to reproduce his junior level offensive performances, reaching a personal high of 26 points in 2018-2019.
