Massive Prediction Regarding Juraj Slafkovsky: Canadiens Journalist Shocks With Projection of the First Overall Pick
Following a strong performance by Juraj Slafkovsky last Saturday, journalist Luc Gélinas, who has been covering the Montreal Canadiens for several decades, made a significant statement about the 19-year-old player.
With extensive experience, Gélinas directly announced that the Slovakian will simply be the best forward of the Canadiens within a maximum of two or three years.
"« In two years, maybe three, Juraj Slafkovsky will probably be the best forward of the #CH. There, it's said! » - Luc Gélinas"
While on BPM Sports today, Gélinas elaborated on his statement, mentioning that he restrains himself from saying that Slafkovsky will simply be the best player of the CH because of the prospect Lane Hutson, who has the potential to become a star in the NHL.
Nonetheless, the RDS journalist asserts that Slafkovsky will be better than Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki, which speaks volumes about the potential player he could become.
In light of his performances over the last month, especially since being placed on the first line, the 2022 first overall pick shows incredible skills on the ice.
Although points are not accumulating as often as one might wish, Slafkovsky creates a lot of good scoring chances for his teammates that don't result in goals. It seems to be only a matter of time before he starts regularly marking the scoresheet.
Let's remember that he only has 69 games of experience in the National League, which is not even a full season.
We are finally seeing flashes of what Slafkovsky will become in a few years, and to say the least, it's highly promising for his future in Montreal.
