Cole Caufield Reveals Shocking Information on the Spittin' Chiclets Podcast
Upon his arrival in Montreal, Cole Caufield quickly became a crowd favorite due to his constant goal-scoring ability. However, after an excellent last season (36 points, including 26 goals, in 46 games), the 23-year-old sharpshooter had a more challenging time this season, scoring a mere total of four goals over a stretch of 27 games.
However, since Canadiens head coach Martin St-Louis paired Cole Caufield with Nick Suzuki and Juraj Slafkovsky, number 22 has been contributing more offensively, notably scoring a goal in a third consecutive game last night. Moreover, the chemistry developing within the first line is very encouraging and especially promising for the future of the organization.
While on the «Spittin' Chiclets» podcast hosted by Paul Bissonnette and Ryan Whitney, the CH forward revealed some very interesting information about his daily life in Montreal. Indeed, even though he signed a contract extension for 62.8 million dollars earlier this summer, Caufield has still not bought a house in the city, currently living with his teammate Christian Dvorak.

Wow! We knew that Cole Caufield and Christian Dvorak had a good relationship, but it's somewhat surprising to learn that the two players live together. It's definitely great news for a young player like him to have the presence of a veteran with a lot of experience by his side.
The Tricolore forward particularly surprised the podcast hosts when asked about his first major purchase following his signing this summer. While some players rush to buy a house or a luxury car, Caufield instead rented a «party bus» to invite several of his friends to attend a Taylor Swift concert.

We love it! Clearly, the CH's number 22 is a very simplistic man. Despite the fact that many players seem to play only for their salary, Cole Caufield does it solely out of passion, not caring too much about the bank account.
One thing is for sure, the Canadiens have an excellent player in Cole Caufield, but more importantly, a human being whose personality is simply radiant. We are eager to see the player he will become in a few seasons, as he could undoubtedly regularly hit the 40-goal mark in the NHL.
