The Columbus Blue Jackets have made several changes to their organizational structure. Another change is occurring behind the bench. As expected, Quebecois Pascal Vincent has been dismissed from his position as head coach of the Blue Jackets. Since Don Waddell arrived as the new hockey boss in Columbus, Vincent's status has been very precarious. Ultimately, it's not surprising to see Waddell make a coaching change to bring in his trusted man. Pascal Vincent had his first opportunity as head coach in the NHL following the Jackets' debacle with Mike Babcock at last year's training camp. It remains to be seen whether Vincent will return as an assistant coach or perhaps even in the American Hockey League.
