The Colorado Avalanche is gearing up for an electrifying second-round clash against the Dallas Stars. Jonathan Drouin could indeed come to their aid.
The Quebecois had to relinquish his spot due to an injury during the first round against the Winnipeg Jets. His teammates didn't have too much trouble disposing of the Jets.
Now, Drouin could very well reclaim his place in the lineup, if we rely on the recent announcements from the organization.
Nothing is confirmed yet, but his situation is progressing, and we could very well see him in action in the second round, as initially announced.
"Jonathan Drouin and Joel Kiviranta are traveling with the team to Dallas, according to Bednar" - Kyle Fredrickson
His return is therefore possible for the first game of the series on Tuesday. However, Coach Jared Bednar might also decide to use him later in this big showdown.
