It has just been announced that Quebecois defenseman Samuel Girard has suddenly left the Colorado Avalanche team.

He was notably scratched from the lineup in the last game without any apparent reason.
Head coach Jared Bednar stated that Girard had to leave for personal reasons.
"Girard will not play tonight, according to Bednar in his show.

He is currently away from the team for personal reasons."
