In the last few hours, while many believed that what happened in Chicago was the end of his NHL career, insider Frank Seravalli revealed that Corey Perry is currently on the radar of a few teams.
"I think there have actually been a few teams in the last 24 to 48 hours that would be interested in adding a player like Corey Perry, so I think this file is far from over." - Frank Seravalli
Since the actions committed by the 38-year-old veteran are serious but not criminal, it seems he could soon return to play with a new team.
Now a free agent able to sign at will across the league, questions have arisen about a possible interest in bringing him back to Montreal.
Knowing how much he was loved within the Canadiens and his special relationship with Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki, Max Lalonde of BPM Sports raised the idea of Perry's return to the CH.
"The question: Perry, do you want him in MTL?"
The question is seriously posed whether the club could benefit from the return of number 94.
After all, Perry had still scored four goals and nine points in 16 games so far this season. He would certainly be better than a Michael Pezzetta or a Joel Armia with the Canadiens.
In your opinion, should Corey Perry return to the Canadiens, yes or no?
