Recent developments surrounding the Coyotes, who have relocated from Arizona to Utah, continue to raise questions.

An auction planned by the Arizona State Land Department for a parcel of land in Scottsdale, intended for the construction of a new amphitheater by the "Coyotes' Miracle Development" group, was canceled.
The ASLD explained that the project required a special permit before acquiring the land. This decision disappointed the team, which had been working in collaboration with the ASLD and expected to win the auction.
The Coyotes are now considering legal actions following this sudden reversal by the state. Alex Meruelo, the former owner, sold the team for $1.2 billion to Ryan and Ashley Smith of Utah, but he retained the rights to the Coyotes' name, logo, and brand, as well as a five-year period to construct a new amphitheater and revive the franchise in Arizona.
