In the last few hours, bad news was announced within the Montreal Canadiens organization.

Indeed, a few games after returning from injury, Swedish forward Lias Andersson has received a one-game suspension for delivering a violent elbow to a player from the Springfield Thunderbirds last Saturday.
"Lias Andersson will miss Wednesday's game against Syracuse for an elbow to the face of an opponent at the end of the game Saturday night in Springfield. I have no problem with this suspension, it's deserved." - Anthony Marcotte

This means that the 7th overall pick in the 2017 draft will have to sit out Wednesday night's game against the Syracuse Crunch.
This is a significant loss for Jean-François Houle's men, who are currently in a tight battle to secure a playoff spot. Currently ranked seventh in the North division, the Laval Rocket is only four points behind the Toronto Marlies for the last playoff spot.
Since his arrival in the Montreal organization, Lias Andersson has made a significant impact, scoring 15 goals and 13 assists (28 points) in 36 games in the American League.
