Just hours before the Montreal Canadiens' first game since the holiday break, changes seem imminent in the organization.

According to recent information from Luc Gélinas, defender Jordan Harris is indeed expected to return to the game tonight.
However, to reintegrate his contract from the injured list, a player currently with the team will have to be reassigned to Laval. Two options were obvious: Emil Heineman and Gustav Lindstrom.
The verdict has just come down, finally confirming Heineman's demotion to the Rocket later in the day, thus avoiding the Canadiens potentially losing Lindstrom on waivers, as Heineman is exempt from them.
"No. Emil Heineman was not at training. The CH should officially assign him to the Laval Rocket tomorrow to make room for Harris in the lineup." - Luc Gélinas

At 22 years old, the Swedish forward has only played two games with the CH, without scoring a point. He has accumulated four points in seven AHL games this season.
