There's movement in the Montreal Canadiens organization today, as two players from the Laval Rocket have just been assigned to the Trois-Rivières Lions, namely Jakov Novak and Alex-Olivier Voyer.

However, as reported by the excellent Anthony Marcotte, who is the play-by-play announcer for the Rocket, this move signals good news within the Canadiens' farm team.
"The Rocket has returned forwards Jakov Novak and Alex-Olivier Voyer to the Trois-Rivières Lions today. This means that Xavier Simoneau has been cleared to play tomorrow night. The health status of Lias Andersson and Sean Farrell is progressing, but they will not play tomorrow." - Anthony Marcotte

This confirms the return to play of Quebecer Xavier Simoneau, who is an important piece of head coach Jean-François Houle's offense.
Furthermore, we also learn that Lias Andersson and Sean Farrell, two important members of Laval's top-9, are also very close to getting the green light. They will be two very high-quality reinforcements for the Rocket.
