In the last few minutes, a rather surprising announcement was made by the Montreal Canadiens.

Indeed, the organization has officially recalled young defenseman Jayden Struble from the Laval Rocket. Moreover, the Canadiens have also indicated that Quebec forward Rafael Harvey-Pinard has been placed on the injured list.
"The Canadiens have placed forward Rafaël Harvey-Pinard on the injured list and have recalled defenseman Jayden Struble from the Laval Rocket." - Montreal Canadiens
This is excellent news for the Canadiens' prospect, as he could potentially play his first game in the NHL this week.
It's worth noting that the 22-year-old defenseman is already with his new teammates, participating in his first practice with the team this morning.
There's no doubt that this promotion is well deserved, as Jayden Struble has quickly established himself as the best defenseman of the farm team so far this year.
Very reliable in his own zone and possessing a robust style of play, the former Northeastern University player is also capable of making an interesting offensive contribution, having collected six points in twelve games with the Rocket.
Certainly, we are eager to see him in action against the world's best hockey players!
